About Nina
Nina is an APHRA and AACMA registered practitioner. Her treatment style is founded upon deep listening, through both conversation and advanced pulse taking methods from the Classical Acupuncture system. This approach allows her to get to know each clients needs from a physical, emotional and spiritual perspective. Nina believes the success of her clinical practice stems from this holistic approach.
Nina is a very grounded and down to earth person who can balance the gravity of the clinical process with compassion and lighthearted openness.
Having worked in Chinese Medicine settings for over 9 years, alongside her own strong and long spiritual practice, her skills and intuition translate to an insightful and gentle clinical experience for her clients, meeting each person where they’re at.
In her personal life Nina enjoys mothering her adventurous daughter, singing, dancing, walks in nature, pottering in the garden and attending a weekly group meditation. With a past life in audio engineering, Nina has a deep love for music and is thriving here in Castlemaine with so many incredible live music venues to enjoy and living alongside so many other creative and clever people. As a Taurus moon sign, she has a slightly pathological preference for aesthetically pleasing homewares and bed linen which she delights in decorating her clinic with. Her heart is happy when clients share how pampered they feel coming into her clinic space.
Why Chinese Medicine
Herbal medicine consults are for existing patients only. These shorter sessions are offered as a check-in point to assess existing herbal medicine prescriptions and make adjustments where needed.
A herbal consult involves a short conversation over a cup of herbal tea followed by palpation of the pulse and tongue assessment. Nina will then prescribe a formula that you’ll take home on the day or have sent to your home from our online dispensary.
